Dr. Kurli opened Advanced Retina & Eye Cancer Center in January, 2014. She completed two fellowships — vitreoretinal surgery and ocular oncology — at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary where she was granted the ‘Best Outgoing Resident’ award on graduating residency.

Dr. Kurli went to medical school in India and trained in ophthalmology in the United Kingdom. She has authored several journal articles and book chapters on the diagnosis and treatment methods for uveal melanoma and has presented her research at national and international meetings.
